It’s December 2028 and it’s great to say development organisations and government bodies all around the world have been very significant; 16 years ago many countries today that are now very wealthy are able to sell their extracts such as oil, and trade it fairly without other countries taking control. Being a famous Nigerian politician I’m proud to say that I have had an impact on this success of development and what makes me happier is that I am able to see my country grow economically and socially with the improvement of schools, jobs and also the oil sector.
Development agenda
Many people didn’t believe that less privileged countries will become developed, with the help of the United Nations development agenda in 1990s many development organisations and new ones such as ‘help our land’ and political bodies have been able to join hand in hand to continue the agenda by protecting and supporting the disadvantage. However years before the new development agenda scheme had been released the UNs agenda in 1990 was very impressive but the problem is, it never worked. The aim of the New development agenda scheme has been to expand on the United Nations one but instead involve more countries and more citizens. The problem in the past is that many citizens from different countries donated to charity but they all happened to be different ones and were mostly for short term aid. The new development agenda has been advertised everywhere it has become something big, something new which hasn’t only involve the government and members of the UN but has also given the public a voice. The agenda has specific aims and part of it is educating the younger generation in order for them to understand colonialism and educate them for when they became older many. People disagree with this they think it is unnecessary and shouldn’t be part of any school curriculum, however in the UK every history class at secondary has been teaching colonialism this has been very impressive as many students are now becoming interested in helping other countries. Another aim which has been made internationally is the public giving money towards development through taxes at first we thought this will be a bad idea but it has started in a few places in Europe such as United Kingdom, France, Italy and many more and now the United states of America, Australia, Canada. With this the new development agency scheme we have been able to collect large amounts of money from each country and now we are able to provide long term aid and it has really helped the development of countries.
We began to see the change in Nigeria around 2026 countries had donated so much money which was so helpful other countries such as Congo are doing very well. The government have been very supportive with this scheme all over the world . And by the looks of it the younger generation are becoming more educated on the area of development which is very beneficial for the future.
I’m very glad things ended up this way it was a big struggle especially around 2012, countries were facing the worst torture and government in countries like Somalia and Congo couldn’t do much to help. But with the new agenda scheme the world has grown in unity countries have worked as one and have been able to take development into action.
